The brand created by a young Brit that's beloved by royals including Princess Kate

Looking at Holland Cooper clothing you’d be forgiven for thinking that it’s a brand steeped in tradition and rooted firmly in British fashion history.

But in reality it was created just 16 years ago by a young Brit called Jade Holland Cooper who is still on the right side of 40, aged just 37.

In 2008, she founded the fashion label by creating 30 tweed miniskirts and selling them from a stall in a field.

Now her designs have become a fashion staple for front row royals including Princess Kate, Zara Tindall and, as of last week, Fergie who wore one of the brand’s green coats for her Christmas walkabout comeback at Sandringham.

Sadly for many, the stunning clothing items aren’t cheap – but what it does show is that the royals aren’t afraid to experiment with less fussy and traditional brands and have a go with fresher alternatives.

Some of Kate’s key looks in 2023 were when she was sporting some of the brand’s best sellers, with the princess sparking a shopping frenzy after being spotted in a Holland Cooper garment.
