Princess Lilibet misses out on Meghan Markle's tribute in lavish eternity ring

Meghan Markle’s eternity ring from Prince Harry does not feature a tribute to their daughter Princess Lilibet, as she was born after he gave it to her.

The young princess was born on June 4 2021, two years after her big brother Prince Archie, who arrived on May 6 2019, and whose birthstone features in the ring.

Harry gave the jewellery item to his wife in 2019 as a symbol of their “connection” as a young family, with the birthstones of her, Harry and Archie all shown in the ring.

Meghan was born in August, Harry in September and Archie in May, meaning the ring features a green peridot, a blue sapphire and a green emerald, according to James Harris from Austen & Blake.

Eternity rings are often presented to women as gifts on significant anniversaries or to commemorate a child’s birth since they represent eternity, love, and dedication towards a family.

During the couple’s recent trip to Florida Meghan was seen wearing the classic piece, as she cheered Harry on as he played in the Royal Salute Polo Challenge for his charity Sentebale.

He said: “This stunning piece pays tribute to timeless jewellery designs whilst showcasing Meghan’s ability to strike an effortless balance between traditional and modern elements in her style.”

The Duchess accessorised her stunning white halter-neck dress with the eternity ring and gold jewellery on her wrists, as Mr Harris added: “This interplay of different sizes and textures added a touch of sophistication to her look.”
