Terrifying video shows chaos and horror after Israel's latest strike on Gaza refugee camp

Speaking on CNN, reporter Nada Bashir described the scene she witnessed as civilians desperately tried to save one another after the strike was completed.

She said: “Chaos and horror in Gaza’s Jabalya refugee camp.

“Wounded children rushed to nearby ambulances, the latest casualties of Israel’s relentless aerial bombardment.

“This densely populated neighborhood, panic and sheer disbelief. A second Israeli airstrike in less than 24 hours.”

The attack led by Biari in early October saw more than 1,400 people killed, with hundreds taken hostage as Hamas took aim at Israel.

Witnesses to the first bombardment on the site described how it “felt like the end of the world”.

The initial strike was said to have killed “numerous Hamas terrorists”, with Israel claiming the building hit had been controlled by the Central Jabalya Battalion, which took over civilian buildings in Gaza City.

However, this was denied by Hamas – who said the building was a refugee camp. It was described as a “heinous crime against safe civilians, children, and women in Jabalya camp” by Israel.

Mohammad Al Aswad was among the witnesses watching the first “horrific” refugee camp bombing.

He said: “Children were carrying other injured children and running, with grey dust filling the air.

“Bodies were hanging on the rubble, many of them unrecognized. Some were bleeding and others were burnt.”

He grimly added how people were hysterical around him, with “women screaming and confused… they did not know whether to cry for losing their children or run and look for them”.
