Royal Family LIVE: Prince Harry and Meghan roasted on live TV as host blasts 'incapable'

Netflix, may be infuriated Meghan Markle’s brand is not moving beyond “making 50 jars of jam” a TV host has claimed. The streaming giant may consider entering into a commercial partnership with Meghan’s brand, American Riviera Orchard.

This comes as the Daily Mail reports Meghan has “failed” to find a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for her cooking and lifestyle business despite having begun the search five weeks ago.

The difficulties have led to intriguing new developments with Netflix thought to be considering a “first time” deal which has sparked criticism from Talk TV host, Cristo Foufas.

Mr Foufas said: “It is literally ‘American do-nothing Riviera’. Netflix, seeing the opportunity and probably infuriated things are not moving on beyond 50 jars of jam have said we have to step in, try and take over, and sell this stuff if we want to get a TV show.”

The Duchess of Sussex, 42, who stepped down as a senior working royal in 2020, launched her new cooking and lifestyle business in March. Mr Foufas added an “incapable” Meghan and Harry can “sit and put their feet up” as brands offer to work for them.

Speaking of the reported negotiations with Netflix, Podcast host and royal critic, Kinsey Schofield, told the host: “This is a great opportunity for Meghan because Netflix has never done this before. If this fails, Meghan can point the finger at Netflix and say this is on them because this was an experiment that they failed.”
