Royal Family have 'firmly shut the door' on Prince Harry and Meghan Markle with key tactic

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will never be welcomed back into the fold as the Royal Family have adopted a new tactic to fight off their spate of attacks, a former royal butler has claimed.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been estranged from the Royal Family ever since they quit their royal duties and moved to the US in 2020.

Ever since then, they went on to make a series of bombshell claims about the royals and their handling of them through a series of interviews, their Netflix docuseries Harry & Meghan and Harry’s memoir Spare.

The rift between the two camps has been deepened even further after the Sussexes’ links to figures attacking the Firm like author Omid Scobie, who’s released two explosive books about the royals, Finding Freedom and Endgame, however, Harry and Meghan tried to distance themselves from the latter.

Shortly before Christmas, sources close to the couple let slip they wish to start mending their ongoing row with the Royal Family, however after Endgame’s release back in November, their relationship became even more frosty.

Now Paul Burrell, who worked as Princess Diana’s butler from 1987-1997, has come out and said that any reconciliation between the two camps is highly unlikely as the royals have “no space” for the Montecito couple.

He claimed the royals have adopted a new tactic of keeping everything “in-house”.

Speaking on behalf of Slingo, he explained: “I don’t think they will ever be invited back with open arms.

“The doors are firmly shut: I think the royals are consolidating. They are keeping tight-lipped and they are keeping everything in-house.

“I think that is their tactic: they have regrouped and pulled together and there is no space for Meghan and Harry.”

Meanwhile, the former royal butler also speculated that Meghan will end up penning her explosive memoir in the end as he pinpointed the real reason she waited so long for it.

He said: “said: “I am waiting for Meghan to release her own memoir. It is inevitably going to write her side of the story because of how absent she was from Spare, and that is because she is penning her memoir and telling it from a woman’s perspective.

“There is no way she is going to stay quiet: she is going to want her side of the story out there and that will do even further damage to the Royal family and rock them even more.”
