Princess Kate's sweet gesture with George, Charlotte and Louis that impresses neighbours

Princess Kate is said to have a sweet gesture that keeps her children well socialised and grounded.

The Princess of Wales has been praised numerous times for her parenting tactics as she attempts to give her children as normal a life as possible – despite raising heirs to the throne.

While the family live at their home in Berkshire for the majority of the year, they often spend time at their country home, Anmer Hall in Norfolk.

While there, Kate is said to maintain good relationships with her neighbours, often taking Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis to birthday parties.

She is also said to ensure her children know the names of her neighbours’ children.

A friend of Kate told PEOPLE: “She is very good at setting boundaries, which helps keep everything running smoothly. But the family is the priority, always.”

Kate is also known for getting involved in community events with her children, with her most recent being a donation drive near their Windsor home.

Kate was pictured taking her children to help sort through children’s toys and clothes, telling George: “You can see how rewarding this kind of work is knowing you are helping out others.”

According to reports, Kate’s neighbours were surprised she managed to remember all of the names of their children.

The family also love to go on bike rides as they enjoy their outdoor pursuits at their country home in Norfolk.

Royal expert Jennie Bond believes Kate has shown she is resilient and is drawing on her experience of royal life.

She added: “Kate has demonstrated that she’s the real deal and William constantly shows that he’s hugely proud of her. Kate’s strength is drawn from the fact that she was given such a long apprenticeship – those nine or ten years that she was allowed to see a little bit of what life would be like in the royal court were completely invaluable.”

Kate returned home today after spending nearly two weeks recovering in hospital following a planned and successful abdominal surgery.
