Prince Harry showed he was 'no longer angry' as he became 'peacemaker' within Royal Family

Prince Harry is “no longer angry” with the Royal Family and trying to move on from the royal rift following King Charles’ cancer diagnosis, according to an expert.

A royal author has claimed that the King’s grandson has now taken on the role of “peacemaker,” four years after stepping down from royal duties with his wife Meghan Markle.

Dr. Tessa Dunlop discussed the couple’s trip to Canada, where they are promoting the 2025 Invictus Games, and the interview Prince Harry gave to Good Morning America while there.

She told The Mirror: “Harry and Meghan had a busy three days in British Columbia, Canada, geeing up next year’s competitors for the first-ever Invictus Winter Games.

“But the prince’s ‘commitment to serve’ is not what hit the headlines. It was his fleeting references to family … that caught everyone’s attention.”

Dr. Dunlop said Prince Harry, upon hearing the news of his father’s cancer diagnosis, immediately went to visit him. Though he reportedly only spent between 30-45 minutes with the King, he was “grateful for any time with his dad,” the royal author added.

She said: “Harry probably meant it when he said he was ‘lucky’ to briefly see his dad, which might explain why the duke is now on his best behaviour.”

“Gone is the anger, this is Harry the peacemaker, the reconciler. ‘Look,’ he insisted ‘I love my family’ before conceding that ‘any illness, any sickness brings families together’.”

Dr. Dunlop said that undertaking the role of the King distracts King Charles from his family, proving “tragic” for Prince Harry.

She said: “The tragic slice of time he was granted with ailing King Charles is indicative of the rarified world the duke’s father occupies.

“Just like his grandmother, the late Queen, being King aged 75 is a big, distracting gig, especially when you are unwell.”
