Nigel Farage to seek 'damages worth millions from NatWest and CEO' after debanking row

Nigel Farage is next week expected to launch a formal legal battle against NatWest bank and it’s ex-CEO Dame Alison Rose after his account was ‘debanked’ by the group.

Sky News reports that the former UKIP leader is seeking millions of pounds in damages from the group following the scandal which saw his account closed.

Mr Farage is understood to have instructed Grosvenor Law to act for him in the claim.

Dame Alison Rose, the former CEO, left her role at the bank in July after she admitted to having discussed details of personal banking arrangements with a BBC journalist.
