Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's secret conversation decoded by lip reader

An intimate moment between Prince Harry and Meghan Markle has been explained by a lipreader, who decoded what the married couple were saying to each other during a romantic date night.

This time last year, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex attended a basketball match at the Crypto.com Arena in downtown Los Angeles, where they were joined by 20,000 other fans to watch the LA Lakers play the Memphis Grizzlies.

The pair were sweetly snuggled up together and were even captured on the big screen by the Kiss Cam, leading to thousands cheering them on as Harry attempted to kiss his wife.

Lipreader Jeremy Freeman told the Mirror that Harry and Meghan seemed to be chatting about their night out during their secret conversation.

He explained at the beginning that Meghan appears to say “it’s brilliant” as he replies “yeah”, before she says “right, it’s because it’s your favourite there” as the camera cuts away.

“Appearing like any other couple in love, Harry and Meghan, while happy to address and interact with passers-by, were clearly focused on each other, with their tactile display revealing how they’re not afraid to display their intimacy in a public setting.”

Speaking after the apparent kiss cam ‘snub’, Mr Stanton added: “We see Harry appear to make a joke as he leaned into Meghan, before pulling a funny face.

“Meghan appears to be a source of comfort and reassurance for Harry and it’s clear to see the admiration she has from him, with Meghan showing a glimpse of this as she laughed at her husband’s confident and humorous display, pulling him in closer to her.”

The Duke of Sussex has confirmed he will be returning to the UK for the Invictus Games 10th anniversary service at St Paul’s Cathedral on May 8.

It is not known yet if Meghan Markle will join him, after she swerved attending the Coronation last year due to a clash with their son Prince Archie’s birthday.

This visit has been considered a possible opportunity for Harry to reconnect with members of his family, having briefly visited King Charles back in February.
