Meghan Markle uses poignant song with lyrics about 'letting go' in video for new Instagram

Meghan Markle has made a dramatic return to Instagram and brought a new luxury lifestyle brand with her.

Prince Harry’s wife returned to the photosharing platform on Thursday to launch her new brand American Riviera Orchard, which was accompanied by a series of pictures to reveal a glitzy logo as well as a rustic video.

In the clip, which was filmed with a polaroid style filter, the Duchess is seen cooking in a beautiful kitchen, while a woman’s hands are seen arranging pink and white flowers.

The scene then cuts to another woman doing chores on the patio of the house.

However, the former Suits star’s song choice for the clip has raised some eyebrows and could potentially have a cryptic meaning.

Meghan decided to us Nancy Wilson’s “I Wish You Love,” as the backing track.

The lyrics to the song are based around letting go and wishing love to those around, as well as being “set free”.

“I wish you bluebirds in the spring/To give your heart a song to sing/And then a kiss, but more than this/I wish you love,” the song begins.

It goes on: “And in July a lemonade/To cool you in some leafy glade/I wish you health/And more than wealth/I wish you love.

“My breaking heart and I agree/That you and I could never be/So with my best/My very best/I set you free,” are also words featured in the song, which could potentially be a nod to Meghan and Harry’s drama’s with the royal family and wanting to put it behind them.

Other lyrics include: “I wish you shelter from the storm/A cozy fire to keep you warm/But most of all when snowflakes fall/I wish you love,” which could be a reference to the “hate and trolling” the couple received after stepping down from the royal family and all the duties that came with their titles.

“My breaking heart and I agree/That you and I could never be/So with my best/My very best/I set you free,” the song concludes.

Her new project is said to have been in the works for more than a year – and features “all the things that are close to her heart”.

The flash company is set to coincide with the launch of a new cookery show featuring Meghan for Netflix – where she will be making and selling her own products.

It will lead to a book and blog to go alongside her cookery displays.
