Meghan Markle told to 'keep her head down' if she wants any hope of improving reputation

Meghan Markle has been urged to “keep her head down”, amid circulating rumours that she is about to release her own memoir.

Speculation spread earlier this year that Meghan may follow in her husband’s footsteps – especially after Spare’s success.

But GoUp’s PR expert Edward Coram-James has said that the former royal should take a step back and use the current moment to “keep her head down”.

The expert exclusively told Express.co.uk that this would be the “best thing” for Meghan, particularly due to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s sinking popularity.

Meghan has not confirmed that a memoir is on its way, but rumours are currently in abundance.

The PR expert continued: “There will always be online trolls that swear otherwise, but the truth is that the same laws of physics that apply to any person or corporation apply also to the Sussexes.

“Most reputations are recoverable, and theirs is no exception.

“There is a strong sense that the last few years have been defined by Meghan talking about Meghan, Harry talking about Harry.

That may be a deeply unfair criticism, as in many respects they were simply trying to take back a small fraction of control over the narrative about their own lives. A narrative that, until then, had been dictated by a hostile press and social media.”
