Meghan Markle is chasing 'prominent' Hollywood acting roles in bid to revive career

Meghan Markle could be eyeing up some “prominent” Hollywood roles “thanks to her new connections”, a prominent PR expert has claimed. The former Suits actress has now reportedly hired Hollywood dealmaker Adam Lilling, who has worked with the likes of Ellen DeGeneres and Nicole Kidman. A leading celebrity publicity expert has told The Mirror: “Allegedly, by hiring Adam Lining, known as Hollywood’s ‘fixer’, Meghan could be looking for a career in Hollywood. Acting is what she’s trained in, therefore, it’s viable she may have a cameo in a film or even TV.”

But PR expert Mayah Riaz said it is unlikely Meghan will decide to put herself forward for any “longer commitment roles”.

She said: “I doubt she would go back to any longer commitment roles such as Suits or any other TV series.

“If it is true the couple have hired Adam Lining, then I’m sure we can expect some prominent Hollywood roles.”

Meghan may also be considering a return to acting, but it seems unlikely she will give up on her passion to help other people through her charity work.

Meghan starred in several procedural US dramas including both CSI Miami and CSI New York during her impressive acting career.

But she has previously said she almost missed out on the role of Rachel in Suits after making mistakes in her audition.

The Duchess of Sussex confessed she repeatedly forgot her lines and thought it had cost her a huge acting opportunity.

She wrote in her blog, The Tig: “I kept forgetting my lines, I was distracted, and I blew it. Which sucks because I really wanted this one.

“I really like Rachel. But I blew it. I wanted it, and I lost my shot at it. Or so I thought.”

Meanwhile, Meghan will be one of six females to receive the Ms. Foundation’s Women of Vision Award during the foundation’s annual gala at New York City’s Ziegfeld Ballroom on May 16.

The Duchess of Sussex will receive her award for “her global advocacy to empower and advocate on behalf of women and girls from Ms. Foundation co-founder Gloria Steinem.

Along with her husband Prince Harry, she directs their philanthropy through their Archewell Foundation, which was founded by the couple in 2020 when they moved to the US after stepping down as senior members of the Royal Family.

Ms. Foundation President and CEO Teresa C. Younger said in a statement: “Meghan, LaTosha, Wanda, Kimberly, Olivia, and Rebekah are incredible leaders.

“We are grateful to be able to shine a light on their many accomplishments and tireless work on behalf of gender and racial equity across the country and the world.”
