Lady Sarah Chatto was dripping in Princess Margaret's diamonds at the Coronation

Lady Sarah Chatto, 59, attended King Charles’s Coronation in May, her maternal first cousin, and looked effortlessly chic.

The daughter of the late Princess Margaret wore a custom pale yellow dress designed by Jasper Conran, who also designed her wedding dress for her 1994 nuptials.

Custom-made especially for her, the yellow dress combined a belted waist, pleated skirt, v-neckline and sharp collar, all rendered in a beautiful shade of buttery yellow.

Lady Sarah once again wore the dress to Royal Ascot last month, which she paired with a hat designed by Stephen Jones.

For footwear, she donned Roger Vivier patent leather pumps in off-white which cost £690.

But it was Sarah’s jewellery which really stood out to royal fans at the Coronation, because it belonged to her mother, the late Countess of Snowdon.

Lady Sarah wore her mother’s pearl necklace with floral diamond clasp, along with the Greville pearl earrings and a diamond bracelet to King Charles’s Coronation.

The pearl and diamond earrings that Princess Margaret wore in the 1950s originally belonged to Mrs Ronald Greville, a society hostess who left the Queen Mother her magnificent collection.

The earrings were a gift from Princess Margaret to Lady Sarah, her only daughter, in 1994.

Lady Sarah wore them for the first time at her wedding to Daniel Chatto in 1994.

Since then, Lady Sarah has worn these earrings frequently for a variety of occasions, both private and public.

Interestingly, she wore these earrings to the wedding of her godson Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex to Meghan Markle.

These earrings feature pearls that are suspended from two lines of diamonds in a v shape.

The necklace that Sarah wore to the Coronation also belonged to Princess Margaret.

The late Countess of Snowdon was photographed wearing it in 2000 at the NSPCC Suffolk Gala Ball.

Margaret was one of many Windsor women to embrace the multi-stranded pearl choker with a bejewelled clasp.

It is now frequently worn by her daughter, Lady Sarah, who once again wore it to Royal Ascot last month.
