'Her childhood was with me!' Thomas demands Meghan speak to him after years of sacrifice


Thomas Markle has insisted he was Meghan’s “hero” when she was growing up and that her childhood was mostly spent with him.

In a 7NEWS Spotlight, he recounted how he took Meghan on her “first trip to the snow” as well as dance classes and the “best birthday she ever had”.

He said: “Her childhood was with me. Every time we had a chance to go somewhere and do something, we would.

“We were very close all our lives. From sixth grade on she lives with me and I got her through high school, I got her through college.”

Thomas added: “I wish that we could sit down and talk. I wish that we could work out our differences.

“She loved me, I’m her hero and suddenly I was thrown out.”

It comes as Meghan has been accused of using her wedding to Harry to “build her career”.

The star-studded guest list such as Oprah Winfrey and George and Amal Clooney.

Royal author Tom Bower has since claimed that he was told by Thomas Markle that Meghan barely knew the Hollywood A-listers.

Speaking to Palace Confidential on Mailplus, Mr Bower said: “Thomas Markle told me that he knew the people at the wedding better than Meghan because he had filmed with them all at ABC and other studios.

“Meghan didn’t know Oprah at all. She’s met her once for a few minutes.

“She didn’t know George Clooney, that was passing once they’d met.

“It was all for her future. She used the wedding to build up her career for when she returned to Hollywood.”

Meghan and Harry tied the knot on May 19, 2018, at St George’s Chapel in a highly publicised event.
