Harry and Meghan 'cannot afford another dud deal' as expert warns 'path is narrowing'

Coram-James told Express.co.uk: “There is a way back for them, but that path is narrowing.

“They need to keep to their content output commitments for any other projects that they are working on, to show themselves to be reliable partners.”

He added: “They also need to make sure that the next few pieces of work are produced to a very high standard and are commercially viable. They cannot afford another dud or cancellation.”

The PR expert also stated that the couple may have to “drop their asking price” when it comes to taking on new deals as the recent Spotify news has damaged their reputation.

Coram-James said: “They also need to see their popularity rise again, or at the very least stabilise.

“If they care to listen to their crisis communications team, then this should be achievable, as there is a straightforward formula to it.”

He also gave some ideas of what the couple should take on, suggesting they pursue the charitable causes they promoted when they were senior members of the Royal Family.

The PR expert added that “the return of their popularity hinges on these charitable causes”, and said they should use the likes of Invictus Games as inspiration.

It comes after Meghan and Harry’s deal with Spotify came to an end earlier this month.

Both Spotify and the couple said they decided to “mutually” part ways and highlighted that they were “proud” of what they had achieved.
