Multiple fire crews have descended upon a Greater Manchester street as locals were given an urgent warning.
Engines from Greater Manchester Fire & Rescue Service arrived at St Germain Street in Farnworth on Saturday evening.
According to a message on X, formerly Twitter, the force said “multiple fire engines are currently at the scene of an incident”.
It added: “Residents and businesses in the surrounding area are advised to keep windows and doors closed and avoid the scene while crews carry out their work.”
