F1 LIVE: Christian Horner 'may still leave Red Bull' as Lewis Hamilton ban proposed

Some members of the Red Bull team are reportedly concerned about Christian Horner’s position, The Times claim.

Horner was cleared against allegations of inappropriate behaviour by an independent lawyer on Wednesday. The 50-year-old had always denied the allegations.

However, it is reported that the team principal may still be looking over his shoulder heading into the new season.

The report states that structural changes could still take place in the aftermath of the probe.

Horner has continued to carry out his duties during the investigation, appearing at the RB20 launch and at pre-season testing in Bahrain.

A Red Bull statement issued on Wednesday read: “The independent investigation into the allegations made against Mr Horner is complete, and Red Bull can confirm that the grievance has been dismissed.

“The complainant has a right of appeal. Red Bull is confident that the investigation has been fair, rigorous and impartial.

“The investigation report is confidential and contains the private information of the parties and third parties who assisted in the investigation, and therefore we will not be commenting further out of respect for all concerned. Red Bull will continue striving to meet the highest workplace standards.”
