Davis Cup LIVE: Great Britain next to try and stop Novak Djokovic's Serbia in knockout tie

Great Britain face off against Serbia in the Davis Cup semi-finals today – 3pm GMT – with Novak Djokovic looking to stop Cam Norrie and co. GB captain Leon Smith will have to cope without injured duo Dan Evans and Andy Murray, the former of whom was instrumental in helping his country progress from the group stages.

Now, Jack Draper, Norrie, Neal Skupski, Joe Salisbury and Liam Broady will aim to help Great Britain get past tournament favourites Serbia. Djokovic comes into the Davis Cup fresh off winning the 2023 ATP Finals for a record seventh time and will go up against British No 1 Norrie in what could be a blockbuster tie.

Draper will also have a huge role to play and Smith has backed the 21-year-old to deliver.

“You get the feeling Jack likes the responsibility, he knows already he is playing a big part of our team and a leading role in the future,” Smith said. “On ranking he is the underdog but we know Jack’s level. It’s not a 60-in-the-world player we’re talking about, his ceiling is really high.”
