Trump set for 'most crushing victory ever' on Super Tuesday as Haley bid stalls – poll

In the biggest states Trump – who seems to be on the front foot after several hurdles to him regaining the White House were cleared this week – is projected to win by 77% to 16% in California and a massive 80% to 17% in Texas.

In Virginia the contest is closer but Trump is still well ahead with 54% to 44% over the former Governor of South Carolina.

Previously, the Express US revealed that 71% of Republicans now believe that Haley should quit the race

More worrying for her long term future is that 52% of Republicans believe she is “a Democrat in disguise”.

If Trump sweeps the state tomorrow it will be virtually mathematically impossible for Haley to continue contesting for the Republican White House nomination.

The polling comes after the Supreme Court ruled 9-0 in favor of the American people being able to vote for the Presidential candidate of their choice.

This means that attempts by State courts to keep Trump off the ballet have failed including in Illinois in tomorrow’s Primary.

It opens the door to a Trump White House bid which only looked under threat from being barred by the “weaponization” of the legal system.

Ms Haley though has previously vowed to fight on even after the anti-Trump billionaire Koch brothers withdrew their funding for her.

But she is coming under increasing criticism for refusing to quit.

Former Trump White House aide Dr Sebastian Gorka had a simple explanation for why she was still in the race.

He said: “It’s obvious. Given the fact that her campaign is courting Democrats to vote in the Republican primaries, and one of her key funders is the billionaire Reid Hoffman who funded the E. Jean Carroll case against President Trump, she is a saboteur for the Biden Administration.”

Mr Basham suggested that she “is auditioning to be an anti-Trump commentator on Fox News and CNN.”

He concluded that a Trump presidential bid and victory is “becoming inevitable” unless the Democrats switch Biden at the last minute.”
