The January transfer window is now well underway and Premier League fans are still waiting for the big guns to start a spending spree. A record £815million was spent by English top-flight clubs in this window 12 months ago, but thus far, teams have more cautious in 2024.
Tottenham have been the main movers so far, with Ange Postecoglou securing the signing of Genoa defender Radu Dragusin as well as former Chelsea striker Timo Werner on loan. Eric Dier has also made a temporary move to Bayern Munich.
With the current reduced schedule though, expect activity to pick up. The Blues, Man United, Liverpool, and Arsenal are all expected to do some significant business before the window is out.
