A teacher has been arrested after being accused of kissing a teenage student in her classroom.

According to reports, Ms Little came to the police’s attention due to rumours involving her and the student. She was later placed on administrative leave.

The student was referred to the Child Protection Center where he alleged that Ms Little sexually harrassed him.

In official documents, it is alleged that on April 17, 2023, the student said he went to Little’s classroom during lunch.

The student said Little put a sign stating testing/tutoring on the door when he entered so only he would be in there, and no one would enter.

It is said the student asked the teacher what she was doing after school that day.

The teacher said she was cleaning her room up, and the student said, in a kidding fashion, he could help her if she needed help, it is reported.

The teacher then allegedly told him yes, that she would like help.

The student would log onto his computer to pretend he was doing work in case anyone came in.

Police alleged: “The student said he was on the computer, and he and Little ‘made out’ for 10-15 minutes before the student left the classroom.”

Ms Little was reportedly been detained at Sarasota County Jail under a $10,000 (£8,000) bond. Records show she is now not in custody.

It has not been confirmed whether she had pleaded to the charges.

Sarasota Military Academy High School campus issued a statement saying: “The High School administration was made aware of an alleged incident that happened between a staff member and student that is being investigated by the Sarasota Police Department.

“We have come to learn that an arrest was made by the Sarasota Police Department, and any updates regarding this case will be released by the SPD.”
