Forensics have arrived on a residential street this evening and have cordoned off a car in a mystery incident. Greater Manchester Police have been spotted at Alvanley Crescent and Rainow Road on the Bridgehall estate from about 7pm today (March 5).
A number of officers have been deployed to the scene, with an area outside some homes also sealed off. The car in the middle of the cordon can be seen with a camera next to it on a tripod, and a passenger door left open.
Greater Manchester Police are yet to confirm the nature of what’s going on, but according to the MEN, residents are shocked to see such a large-scale emergency presence in their area. One resident told the title: “I don’t know how I’ll sleep tonight”, as she came across the incident on her way home.
