The winners of this year’s Six Nations will be crowned this weekend, with as many as four teams still able to get their hands on the prestigious trophy. Ireland will be the favourites to get over the line but England and Scotland will be desperate to upset the defending champions and claim the spoils for themselves.
If Ireland lose to Scotland without gaining a bonus point, England will be crowned champions if they manage to earn a bonus-point win over France. However, it will not matter what England do in Lyon if Ireland win their final game to defend the Six Nations crown they secured last year.
Scotland, meanwhile, will have to beat Ireland by a massive margin to overturn their 76-point difference disadvantage and hope that France beat England without a bonus point. France also remain in the mix but are highly unlikely to win the title, needing Scotland to claim a significant win over Ireland while achieving a bonus point victory against England with a greater margin.
