Royal Family panic as Meghan Markle could 'target four royals' in tell all book

Speculation is rife that Meghan Markle is set to pen her own memoir, and one royal expert predicts that any book written by Prince Harry’s wife could target four members of the Royal Family in particular.

With the Royal Family still reeling from the publication of Prince Harry’s Spare and it’s many revelations about its members it’s now rumoured that his wife Meghan, The Duchess of Sussex, is planning her very own version – which could likely cause panic for the royals on this side of the Atlantic.

Whilst a PR expert has warned that 2024 is not the right time for Meghan to tell all – she’s also warned that there are certain topics she’ll want to include and members of the royal family she will want to talk about. Fuelling the talk about further books from the pair is the idea that they reportedly have a deal of four books with publisher Penguin Random House.

Meghan has already written The Bench which came out in June 2021 – a children’s book which talks about the relationship between father and son. Meghan found inspiration for the book from the relationship that Prince Harry has with their son, Archie Mountbatten-Windsor.

Prince Harry then upped the book count to two with his memoir Spare. The third book is said to be a wellness book that the pair are rumoured to be working together on.

Which leaves space for one more written offering, which is thought to be a memoir by Meghan. And speaking to The Mirror Lynn Carratt from Press Box PR believes that there are certain topics the Duchess will be itching to talk about.

She said: “There are many things Meghan will want to say and put her side across about.”

She added: “She’ll want [to] talk [about] her marriage to Harry, her relationship with King Charles and Camilla, Kate and William. I’m sure fans would like her to talk about her relationship with her father Thomas, but she isn’t that forthcoming about that side of her life.”

However Ms Carratt added that 2024 would not be the right time for the release of any potential book by Meghan.

She said: “I am sure that is still the plan and it will form part of their deal with Penguin, but timing is everything and 2024 wouldn’t be the right time for its release”.

Meanwhile  a royal expert has claimed she is “desperate” for the endorsement of a major brand as she and Prince Harry look to their further career prospects.

Commentators and sources close to the couple have suggested the Sussexes are now looking to rebrand themselves after a disastrous year PR wise in 2023.

Royal author Tom Bower said: “Meghan has made huge efforts. She does look amazingly good at the moment, and is clearly working hard at it. I think she is looking desperately for an endorsement with something like Dior, and that’s been a disappointment as she hasn’t landed one contract.”

But an insider at Dior dismissed the idea, telling the Telegraph: “The Duchess of Sussex is not in talks with Dior. There is no truth to the claims that she will partner with the French fashion house.”
