Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s brand in the UK has been branded a “s**t sandwich” as the couple “refuse to listen”, according to a senior PR executive. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex quit life as working royals in the UK in 2020 but are now said to be seeking a British PR guru to gain better publicity in the country.
However a PR executive told the Daily Mail about the possibility of this happening: “This is a s**t sandwich that many senior PR people will not be willing to eat. Many will turn it down.
“Representing the couple in the UK is a tantalising thought but they don’t have a reputation for listening to advice. What would be the point?”
In his interview with Good Morning America last month Harry said he had more trips to the UK planned this year and would hopefully be able to spend more time with his family.
The Sussexes and the Firm have been estranged for some years, but with King Charles’s illness there is a feeling that father and son could build bridges.
