Meghan Markle called ‘rude’ for 'stealing the spotlight' from Prince Harry at recent event

Meghan Markle’s “rude” move at Prince Harry’s recent polo match was an attempt to “make herself feel better”, a royal author claimed.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were spotted enjoying a glamorous weekend in Miami at a charity polo match in Florida.

Fans picked up on an awkward moment where Meghan appeared to ask a woman not to stand next to Harry during a trophy presentation.

Royal author Angela Levin has claimed, speaking to GBN America, that the Duchess of Sussex was stealing the “spotlight” during the event.

Speaking about Meghan, Levin said: “She is a very difficult person, and we saw that a week or so ago with how rude she was when Harry was playing his polo.”

Levin went on: “This woman, a very nice, attractive woman in a beautiful white dress moved to stand by Harry. Meghan of course was holding the award and wouldn’t let this woman stand next to Harry. She kept pointing very assertively.

“The woman was quite taken aback. Eventually she did move. She had to duck under the award and stand next to Meghan.

“She was the chair of the charity that Harry was trying to raise funds for, something he has been doing for a very long time.”

Levin went on: “I can’t imagine anyone behaving like that in public, making such a scene when she’s got nothing to do with polo and nothing to do with the charity.
