Fans are hoping Meghan Markle will return to acting after reports suggest she is planning on “sinking her teeth” into new project with Netflix.
The Duchess of Sussex is said to be seriously considering returning to her former career after giving it up to move to the UK and marry Prince Harry.
A royal expert has said there is “demand from fans” for Meghan to return to acting now that she is ready to work more on her solo career.
Meghan’s most prominent acting role in the past was portraying Rachel Zane in the legal drama Suits.
Kinsey Schofield told GB News: “According to Life & Style magazine Meghan Markle thinks there’s an Oscar in her future.”
She added: “According to a source, Suits is such a hit, these re-runs you’re seeing on Netflix and they are like forcing it down your throat right now.
“Meghan is being told there is a demand for her from fans and that she should act again.
“They say she’s excited and she really wants to sink her teeth into a dramatic film role and she thinks an Oscar will be in her future.”
Last month, Suits smashed a Netflix record, four years after its last episode. Meghan departed after the seventh series following her engagement to the Duke of Sussex in 2017.
