Queen Camilla beams in gorgeous emerald green dress and debuts £4,000 clutch bag

Queen Camilla has stunned royal fans in a gorgeous emerald green dress and new £4,000 clutch bag.

The Queen attended the ‘Celebration of Shakespeare’ event at Grosvenor House in London on Wednesday.

She enjoyed an evening of Shakespeare alongside some acting royalty, such as Dame Judi Dench and Gary Oldman.

For the romantic evening, Queen Camilla wore ME+EM’s crushed velvet elegant maxi dress in dark ultra green paired with the black Gabrielle clutch bag by Moynat, which retails at £4,000.

To accessorise, Camilla opted for a host of glamorous jewellery, including the late Queen Mother’s Cartier emerald and diamond bracelet.

Queen Camilla kept her look very natural, opting for her signature hairstyle and make-up.

Pictures of the royal were shared by the popular Instagram account, @royalfashionpolice.

Fans expressed their love of her emerald green dress, with one fan commenting: “Stunning dress! So fresh!”

Another fan wrote: “So many colours seem to suit her so well [heart-eyed emoji] including [the] green of this dress.”

Praising the royal, another commented: “Camilla always dresses so elegantly and in a very fashion forward way for her age and position. She’s great.”

The star-studded event, which was also attended by Dame Joanna Lumley and Dame Twiggy Lawson, marked 400 years since the first Shakespeare folio.

Upon arriving at the event, the Queen beamed as she was greeted by host Gyles Brandreth.

The royal was then introduced to various guests, all of whom had strong links to Shakespeare’s works.

As the Queen continues to step out on various engagements, the King is currently taking time away from duties after his cancer diagnosis last week.

Buckingham Palace confirmed on February 5 that King Charles had been diagnosed with “a form of cancer” – although the type of cancer has not been disclosed.
