Russian forces battered the Ukrainian capital overnight with a barrage of air strikes.
Ukrainian forces said it was the largest drone attack on Kyiv since the start of the war.
Volodymyr Zelensky’s troops, however, said they managed to down 52 out of the 54 drones lounged by Russia.
