Princess Kate debuts £1,457 Blaze Milano blazer for family visit to RAF air show

Kate, Princess of Wales braved the rainy weather today for a family visit to the Royal International Air Tattoo.

For the occasion, she chose a blazer, t-shirt and trouser combination, with flat shoes.

Her blazer is from the brand Blaze Milano and is the Wind Hunter Charmer Double-Breasted Pinstriped Grain De Poudre Blazer.

It is believed to be from a past season, and is priced at £1,457, available to buy from Net-A-Porter or Editorialist.

The wesbite description for the blazer reads: “As the name implies, Blazé Milano is all about blazers, and the label has made this ‘Wind Hunter Charmer’ version just for us.

“It’s tailored from grain de poudre woven with generous amounts of silk and linen and patterned with creamy pinstripes. The double-breasted front is outlined with pretty knotted buttons.

“20 percent of the profits* from the sale of this product will go to the Association of the Italian Red Cross.”

The royal paired the jacket with a white t-shirt and smart navy trousers with flat pumps to match.

Designed by one of her go-to designers, Alexander McQueen, the bottoms are a staple for formal occasions attended by the Princess of Wales.

According to a royal style blogger, UFO No More, the trousers are tailored from soft grain de poudre wool.

They sit high on the waist and have straight legs with sharp pleats through the front. While they were previously available to buy from Net-A-Porter, the trousers are now out of stock.

The garment comes as part of a matching set with a wool blazer in the same navy shade, which retailed for £1,205 when it was in stock.

Kate’s flat suede pumps are a comfortable change from her go-to stiletto court heels and well suited to the military occasion.

Designed by Emmy London – a shoe brand the Princess has many styles from – the exact style is the Emmy Lulu Flats in Midnight Navy (£405).

On the website, the shoes are described as: “A stylish pointed flat in a rich midnight navy shade. With a low-profile heel and extra padding, Lulu is the perfect balance of comfort and beauty.

“The midnight navy shade is a super wearable tone making these pretty and practical flats a brilliant finishing touch to just about any outfit.”

To complete the smart-casual ensemble, the Princess of Wales paired her Daniella Draper Baby Treasure Necklace in Gold Citrine with old hoop earrings.

The £825 pendant sat just below her collar bone on the subtle scoop neckline of her white top. Kate teamed the expensive necklace with dainty hoop earrings by a French designer.

She wore her Sézane Bruna Hoop Earrings, made from glass stones, 3-micron gold-plated metal and finished with master’s hallmark.

Now out of stock, the delicate jewels were once available to buy on the Sezane website for $100 (£76).
