Prince William ‘treats Prince George and Princess Charlotte equally’ but mentors just one

Prince William is the loving father of Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, eight, and Prince Louis, five.

He is a doting dad who is very hands-on, whether it’s helping the kids get ready for school, taking them to sporting events or paying them special attention during important royal events.

Prince William and Prince George have a very unique relationship as they share the experience of both being heirs to the throne.

However, this does not mean that the eldest son is treated any better than his brother or sister, said body language expert Judi James.

She spoke exclusively to Express.co.uk about how William treats his daughter in relation to his sons.

William’s act of inclusion suggested a very equal approach to parenting, as the father-son-daughter trio saw the runners off.

Judi also observed that on another occasion, Charlotte mimicked an affectionate gesture both her brothers have used with their dad, implying a very similar relationship.

She said: “When William was photographed romping on the ground with all three children it was Charlotte with her arms linked round his neck as they posed on a swing, in a gesture that was similar to one used by both George and Louis on their dad, which again seemed to illustrate William’s even-handed parenting.”
