Prince William so proud of George, Charlotte and Louis he can't stop smiling, says expert

She added: “Charlotte registered her preemptive thinking when it comes to royal formalities by pulling her right hand away from Kate’s to prepare for the handshakes with the clergy.

“Kate used reward behaviour to encourage this by smiling down at her daughter and placing and arm around her shoulders.

But the expert also noted Prince Louis’s appearance, saying the five-year-old is “beginning to look like a prime networker” in the Royal Family.

She said that holding hands with Zara and Mike Tindall’s daughter, Mia, was a “first in terms of breaking the normal sibling-and-parent-based hand-holding at royal events”.

“At the Carols for Christmas he was seen turning to grin at Wolfie as they left the Abbey.

“Now on Christmas day, he arrived at church clutching hands with his father on one side and Mike and Zara’s daughter on the other.

“Pulling on William’s arm and pushing ahead, Louis looked impatient to get into the service.

“He stood cross-legged with impatience while he was forced to wait to be greeted by the clergy.”
