Prince William considers a crucial family issue the ‘most important job' as next monarch

Prince William puts family first and this is especially true when it comes to his role in raising Prince George, according to a royal expert.

Robert Hardman, author of The Making of a King: Charles III and the Modern Monarchy, spoke to Fox News, saying, “William considers one of his most important jobs is raising the next monarch. All that’s going through his head is, ‘What kind of king is George going to be?”

The author suggests, William takes into consideration, whatever kind of king George is going to be, is down to William, and the Princes of Wales doesn’t “want to scare him off,” because the role of monarch is “a privilege and honor” versus “a burden.”

Mr. Hardman talks about William being a family man, saying, “William loves the sort of regular, normal life.”

He adds: “Yes, he’s heir to the throne, and he has all these castles, art and everything else, but in a way, he is happiest at home with wife and kids, doing the same things other families do, kicking the ball around, going bike riding, swimming, these kinds of things.”

“He’s a hands-on dad. William has been absolutely adamant about family security, family privacy.”

William and Kate are raising the future heir to the throne, but at the same time, they’d like their children to be able to enjoy their childhoods, reports numerous outlets.

Hardman says of their parenting: “They are very concerned their children having a normal one, just a private life, like any other child.”

Author Tom Quinn predicts William and Kate’s parenting techniques will be long-lasting with George, 10, Charlotte, 8, and Louis, 5, to benefit as the monarchy of the future takes shape.
