Prince William breaks silence on wild conspiracy theories about wife Princess Kate

Prince William has spoken out about the crazy conspiracy theories about his wife, Princess Kate.

Kate is taking a break following abdominal surgery and Kensington Palace said she would rest until around Easter and they won’t be giving news about how she’s doing.

She was seen for the first time this week, driving near where she lives with her mum Carole Middleton.

A spokesperson for Prince William told People magazine: “His focus is on his work and not on social media.”

This comes after Kensington Palace said there was “madness on social media”, since Kate’s surgery, reports the Mirror.

A spokesperson for Kensington Palace stated: “The timelines provided on the Princess’ hospital stay and planned return to royal duties were very clear from the outset. Nothing has changed.”

The palace repeated a statement given last week, saying: “The princess continues to be doing well.”

In other news, Kate’s uncle Gary Goldsmith, who is currently appearing on the new series of Celebrity Big Brother on ITV1, has criticised wild conspiracy theories about the royal’s absence from public view, stating she needs “space” to recover.

When asked about the wild conspiracy theories surrounding his niece’s health, Gary said: “I think they should leave her alone right now because there’s a reason why they’re [family] not talking about it.”

“I just think it’s fundamentally wrong and if it was happening to anybody else they would think to give them some space. But because Kate’s Kate, she does such an amazing job, there’s always interest in her. She’s the number one royal for a reason and I just beg people to give her some space.”

American gossip website TMZ has shared photos of Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, being driven near Windsor Castle in a 4X4 Audi this week.
