Prince William and Princess Kate make joint appearance together after string of solo trips

Prince William and Kate, the Princess of Wales have arrived for a joint appearance in Cardiff to mark the start of Black History Month.

The couple’s visit marks their joint engagement after both have stepped out recently for various solo trips.

Kate and William appeared in high spirits as they stepped together, with Kate spoting another smart suit.

The visit also marks the 75th Anniversary of the arrival of the HMT Empire Windrush to the United Kingdom.

While William ventured out to New York City last month, Kate undertook various solo trips, including to Leeds last week to tour the AW Hainsworth textiles mill.

During Tuesday’s visit, the couple will meet with members of the Windsrush Cymru Elders, Black History Cymru 365 and the Ethnic Minority Youth Forum for Wales at the Grange Pavilion.

William and Kate will have the opportunity to hear all about the incredible contribution the Windrush generation have had on the Welsh community.

In honour of Black History Month, the couple will also learn how the young ethnic minority individuals are helping to create a positive change in Wales.
