Prince William and Kate ignore Omid Scobie's book as they release slick new video

Prince William and Kate have released a slick new video on their social media platforms highlighing the investitures handed out at Buckingham Palace this year, in what has been viewed as a bid to ignore the fresh allegations levelled against the firm.

The video was released just hours after Omid Scobie’s bombshell book Endgame hit the shelves, a book that paints a grim picture of the state of the monarchy.

Claims include that William is hot-headed and views his father King Charles as “incompetent”, while Kate is painted as cruel and cold towards sister-in-law Meghan Markle.

Other senior royals are also in the firing ling, as the author picks apart the current state of the Royal Family and warns that the House of Windsor could soon fall.

But the Prince and Princess of Wales appear to be focusing on royal duty as they shared a video highlighting the hundreds of honours handed out to members of the public this year.

The post, which is accompanied by a 46-second video, reads: “Rounding off a brilliant year of awarding honours to inspirational people at Buckingham Palace. A huge thanks to everyone for what you have done, and continue to do.”
