Prince Louis's adorable hobby that shows he's following in King Charles's footsteps

Prince Louis has the same passion as his mother, Princess Kate and grandfather, King Charles when it comes to one particular hobby.

The young royal has many interests from sports to cooking with his siblings.

But there is one pastime the prince enjoys quite a lot and it undoubtedly makes mum Kate feel very proud, as any other parent would.

Just last year, the Princess of Wales visited the Chelsea Flower Show where she made an adorable revelation.

Whilst taking part in the Children’s picnic, Kate revealed to some of the kids her son’s newfound interest in gardening.

When some of the youngsters told her they were growing sunflowers at school, the royal replied: “They get so big, don’t they?”

“Louis is growing broad beans at school. You put them in a cup and you can see the roots growing. They get big quickly, like sunflowers.”

The Princess of Wales is known to be very interested in gardening.

She visited the show back in 2019 with Louis, who helped his mother with the finishing touches of a garden she co-designed for the event.

A year later, the princess visited East Anglia Children’s Hospices (EACH) where she helped plant a garden for one of the charity’s sites.

King Charles is also known for his love of gardening and horticulture.

As Prince of Wales, he’s designed the gardens at Highgrove and after he became monarch he’s transformed the topiary garden on the Sandringham Estate into an eco-friendly haven.

The monarch has previously described gardening as “the most therapeutic business”.

In 2018, he revealed that he first discovered his passion when he and sister Princess Anne got their own plot at Buckingham Palace “where we grew vegetables and things”.

He told Gardeners World: “I remember being absolutely riveted as a child wandering about…looking at all the plants”

He added how “the smell and everything had a profound effect on me.”
