Prince Harry's message to Kate 'could be beginning' of renewed bond with Prince William

Prince Harry reached out to Princess Kate, wishing her “health and healing,” in response to the video message she released on Friday, which may be “the beginning of brewing the bonds of brotherly love” with Prince William, says one royal insider.

Michael Cole, royal expert and commentator, appeared on GB News, saying Harrys reaching out is “significant” and “it could be the beginning of renewing the bonds of brotherly love.”

According to Mr Cole, it’s “about time” because the brothers haven’t spoken in two years and “at one time, they were extremely close.”

Harry in fact basically lived with William and Kate at Kensington Palace, but that all changed when he met Meghan, says the insider.

In addition to Harry’s public message, it’s being said he reached out to William privately.

While it may be the step in the right direction, the start of a reconciliation, at this moment, “Prince William has other more pressing matters on his mind, and that is his wife, Kate, and her speedy return to good health,” says Cole.

“What we can make of this private reaching out, as it’s being put, remains to be seen.”

Town and Country’s Victoria Murphy says the Royal Family is “in unprecedented times,” which “call for unprecedented measures,” like Kate releasing video message about her health issues.

According to Ms Murphy, the Palace has relied on video messages to make charity announcements and give addresses, but other matters, like health, have been confined to written statements.

“Kate broke ground this week and became the first family member ever to update the public on her health directly in this way,” says Murphy.
