Prince Harry ordered to stay away from UK despite Kate and Charles’s cancer diagnoses

The question posed to our readers was ‘should Prince Harry return to royal duties amid Princess Kate’s cancer diagnosis’?

A total number of 20,058 voted in our poll, with 1,137 (6 percent) readers believing Harry should return.

A huge number believed Harry should not conduct return and conduct royal engagements, with 18,797 (84 percent) stating ‘no’.

124 (0.6 percent) readers said they ‘don’t know’ if King Charles’s youngest son should return amid the upheaval.

The Express poll ran from 11am on March 23 until 10am on March 24.

Prince Harry and Meghan issued a statement to wish Kate “health and healing” following her diagnosis.

The California-based couple, who stepped back from senior royal duties in 2020, sent their message of support an hour after the King and Queen shared theirs.

It stated: “We wish health and healing for Kate and the family, and hope they are able to do so privately and in peace.”

While Harry and Meghan put out a response to the news shortly after it went global, it is not known if either of them were aware of Kate’s personal health issues before her decision to go public with it.

Kate, looking down the lens of a camera, said the cancer had been discovered during post-operative treatment. She had undergone successful abdominal surgery in January, but it was not picked up until later on.
