Prince Harry and Meghan 'not trusted' by royals and return unlikely as bridges 'burned'

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will not return to the Royal Family as working members after bridges have been “completely burnt”.

A public relations guru, who specialises in royal commentary, claimed it’s likely that the Sussexes will ever return to royal life.

This comes after King Charles and the Princess of Wales are undergoing treatment following their cancer diagnoses.

“It’s doubtful that Meghan and Harry will return to the Royal Family as working Royals, even with Charles and Kate undergoing treatment for cancer,” Lynn Carratt from Press Box PR told Daily Mirror.

“The monarchy at the moment is being led by Camilla, which, a few years ago we never believed we’d see, Prince Edward and Sophie (a favourite of the late Queen Elizabeth), the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh, have stepped up their support for the Queen.”

Queen Elizabeth), the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh, have stepped up their support for the Queen.”

Lynn added how Princess Anne, “year after year, always carries out the most public engagements”, noting how she “can’t see that slowing anytime soon, especially while her brother is ill”.

“The bridges have been burnt between Harry and Meghan in terms of becoming working members of the Royal family, the family doesn’t think they can trust them,” Lynn noted, adding that “they’ll also never be allowed to work part-time as royals while splitting their time between the UK and America and doing it on their terms”.

“It was refused before, and I can’t see that being any different now,” she added.

In 2018, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex got married before moving into Frogmore Cottage in Windsor.

Soon after, they welcomed their first child, Prince Archie.

However, early in 2020, the couple surprised the world with their decision to step back from their senior roles within the royal family.

Within months, they relocated to Montecito, California, forging a new life for themselves and their expanding family.

Since departing from royal duties and nurturing their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, in the United States, the couple has been vocal about their experiences within the monarchy.

Their candid revelations, shared through televised interviews, Netflix documentaries, and revelatory books, has made a growing divide between the Sussexes and the royal institution apparent.

Lynn added: “While Harry is now trying to build family bridges with his father and his brother and his sister-in-law in terms of a family relationship, the past arguments that have ensued in public and the gulf is still deep from them and this would affect them coming back to the work to become working Royals.”
