Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's beloved daughter has her very own 'Lili Land' at home

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are devoted parents to both of their young children, Prince Archie, four, and Princess Lilibet, two, but it is their daughter who reportedly has an entire section of their kitchen kept just for her.

In his memoir Spare, published in January, Harry describes their Montecito home’s ‘Lili Land’ as he recalled an incident when a hummingbird flew into the kitchen.

He wrote: “[The hummingbird] swooped around our kitchen, and flitted through the sacred airspace we call Lili Land, where we’ve set the baby’s playpen with all her toys and stuffed animals.”

In their Netflix docuseries Harry & Meghan the couple gave fans an insight into their normally secluded property, as they showed the cameras glimpses of the nine-bedroom mansion’s exterior and garden, as well as a look at little Lilibet’s nursery.

The nursery was shown in a photo that depicted Meghan holding her little girl in the room, which is thought to have been taken not long after she was born in June 2021.

From what can be gathered from the photo the room looks to have painted detailing on the wall, with imagery of a squirrel above a door frame, a moses basket and storage such as a dresser.

In an episode of the series Harry can also be heard telling his son Archie about hummingbirds as they are stood on a balcony at the family home.

He tells him: “We won’t get a chance to be this close to hummingbirds ever again […] because they’re scared of humans.”

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex settled down in California, Meghan’s home state, in 2020, with Meghan previously leaving her LA actor life behind her to marry into the Royal Family.

However she could now consider a return to the screen, even though royal author Christopher Andersen believes it would be a “step down” for her.

This year Meghan signed with top talent agency William Morris Endeavour, but has not yet announced any new projects in the pipeline.

Mr Andersen told Us Weekly about Meghan’s possible return to acting: “I don’t think it’s the proper next step and I don’t think she was doing that.

“It would be a step down, wouldn’t it?” he said, adding: “There was always talk she would go back into acting because that was her true passion but I’m not so sure it is Meghan’s true passion. I think she wants to be a social force.”
