Why Meghan Markle is 'unlikely' to join Prince Harry in UK return explained

Ingrid Seward, the editor-in-chief of Majesty Magazine, also commented on the possibility of Meghan attending the service. She said: “It may not be definite that she isn’t coming, but it’s most unlikely. Meghan’s reception would overshadow the message of the service, and you wouldn’t want that.”

The Invictus Games’ official social media announcement regarding Harry’s attendance at the service made no mention of Meghan. I read: “The Invictus Games Foundation will celebrate 10 years of changing lives and saving lives with a ‘Service of Thanksgiving’ at St Paul’s Cathedral on May 8th.

“We will be joined by our Patron, Prince Harry, The Duke of Sussex, actor Damian Lewis and members of the worldwide Invictus Community to mark the occasion.”

The trip will be Harry’s first return to the UK since he rushed back in February after King Charles’ cancer diagnosis. He flew to see his father and was in the UK for only 22 hours, reportedly having a brief 45-minute meeting with Charles, their first proper private conversation in 15 months.
