Prince Harry and Meghan Markle accused of 'all talk and no action' after catastrophic 2023

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been accused of being “all talk talk and little action” by a royal expert who has warned the couple must make a dramatic change in their career strategies.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex signed multi-million-pound deals with Netflix and Spotify when they stepped away from the Royal Family to relocate from the UK to Montecito, California in early 2020.

But earlier this year, Harry and Meghan saw their reported £25million deal with Spotify mutually end. The couple have also faced a backlash after making several claims against the Royal Family that saw their popularity plunge.

Royal expert Kinsey Schofield now believes Harry and Meghan have to “put their money where their mouth is” to rebuild in 2024.

She told GB News: “I think they have to figure out what their core values are and that it has to be reflected in the activities that they do, for people to have any sort of interest in them or any sort of faith in them.

“You can’t say upon leaving the Royal family that you’re going to live a life of service and then spend a significant amount of time on reality television for Netflix and Oprah Winfrey.

“They’ve got to change public perception of them and put their money where their mouth is because there’s so much talk and little action in the spaces that they’re talking about improving.

“It’s a fundamental lack of authenticity and people see straight through that and there’s nothing that they can do unless they start to put their money quite literally where their mouth is and do some real genuine stuff that isn’t all red carpets.

“The need to do something that isn’t dropping the puck at an ice hockey game.”

An insider has also warned 2024 is “make or break” for the Sussexes, while also claiming: “Meghan’s told Harry to step up.”

The source told Heat magazine: “So far it’s been her doing the lion’s share of the networking, and she’s stressed – largely because so many deals have fallen apart.

“She wants to take a step back and feels it’s time for Harry to get his game face on.”
