Police cordon off McDonald's as emergency services at the scene


A McDonald’s in Liverpool has been cordoned off by police.

Scientific support officers are at the scene, according to the Liverpool ECHO, and the fire service was also in attendance.

The fast food restaurant, on Queens Drive, Walton, is closed off entirely to customers.

A spokesperson for Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service said: “Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service attended an incident on Queens Drive, Walton, on the morning of Thursday 26th October.

“Crews were alerted at 5.34am and one fire engine was on scene to assist Merseyside Police at 5.40am, we left the scene at 06.49am.
