Nicolas Jackson in heated moment with Chelsea fan vs Brentford as Pochettino intervenes

Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino was forced to intervene after a fan confronted Nicolas Jackson during the Blues’ Premier League clash with Brentford. Supporters grew frustrated during a tepid first half at Stamford Bridge, with one individual taking exception to Jackson’s performance.

The Chelsea striker has split opinion since his £30million switch from Villarreal. He has scored just two Premier League goals in nine appearances this season.

After another lacklustre team performance at Stamford Bridge, Jackson was seen being confronted by a supporter near the tunnel. The 22-year-old forward had been in conversation with Pochettino, receiving tactical instructions from the Chelsea coach.

The man seemed to ask the 22-year-old why he had not scored in the opening 45 minutes. Jackson noticed the person and was then seen putting his finger to his lips, as if to tell the supporter to be quiet.

Chelsea boss Pochettino was forced to intervene in the situation before tensions simmered. The Argentine could be heard pleading with the fan to support the team rather than be critical.
