Meghan Markle 'tapping into Martha Stewart vibe' to reclaim passion she had to give up


Meghan Markle’s new lifestyle blog is predicted to reignite the creative spirit she once had when running The Tig, and she may become the next “hostess with the mostess,” by tapping into her inner Martha Stewart, one royal insider suggested.

The Duchess of Sussex unveiled her next business venture as she shared a promotional video announcing the upcoming launch of her new brand, America Riviera Orchard.

Royal commentator Richard Kay suggested the Duchess is trying to win over public support by turning to a homier version of herself – noting the brand was reminiscent of the British cookware and bakeware shop Lakeland.

Kay told Palace Confidential: “What we have here is a sort of American version of the Lakeland Catalogue in Britain. Meghan is tapping into that vibe.”

“I think in America, she is more tapping into the Martha Stewart vibe, the sort of accomplished hostess with the mostess.”

Eden added: “I think she was told to leave behind, when she joined the Royal Family, and I think that always rankled with her.

“So, this is an opportunity to bring that lifestyle blog back to life.”

Meghan launched her new blog on March 14 – which marked the fourth anniversary of Meghan and Prince Harry flying from Canada to the US, making Montecito, California their new home.

US-based Royally Obsessed podcast forecast that the website for Meghan’s America Riviera Orchard will go “live” on April 7, the same date The Tig shut down.
