Meghan played the character Rachel Zane in the hit US legal drama Suits for seven seasons from 2011 until 2018, with the show proving to be a massive hit with millions of viewers around the world.
In addition, the former actress is also understood to have been offered the opportunity to debut as a Hollywood director on at least one episode of the legal drama’s new series.
The senior production source suggested an official announcement could follow in the coming weeks, with production beginning soon after as studio bosses seek to cash in on massive renewed interest in Suits.
