Meghan Markle and Prince Harry 'not waiting around' as they plan huge comeback

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are “not waiting around” as they look to turn their fortunes around in 2024.

The Sussexes have faced a turbulent 2023 which started with the aftermath of the Harry and Meghan Netflix documentary followed by the release of Harry’s memoir Spare. The bombshell tell-all book faced backlash for claims about the Royal Family.

The couple then saw their $25 million deal with Spotify “mutually” ended before being mocked on both Family Guy and South Park. However, an entertainment expert believes next year could be the year they start to turn their fortunes around.

Mark Boardman told the Daily Express US that the couple are “certainly not waiting” for something to come along. Instead, he says, they are “actively shaping their narrative”.

Boardman says the couple will be “inundated with various offers” as firms look to snap them up for speaking engagements and charity events.

Speaking to the Daily Express US, he said: “Regarding the potential Hollywood comeback for Harry and Meghan in 2024, with multimillion-dollar deals in place for multiple book deals, ownership of publication rights to a novel, besides running the Archewell Foundation, the Sussexes are actively shaping their narrative and are certainly not waiting for something to happen.

“I know from years working in the media that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will indeed certainly be inundated with various offers to attend events and support good causes. This is in addition to being receipt an array of collaborations to speaking engagements that all would equate to a full-time role.”

The expert says 2024 looks likely to be a “more positive year” for the Sussexes. He predicts money will be “rolling in” whatever the couple choose to do next.

Boardman however believes the Sussexes will need to win the public over to create more opportunities. He added: “Strategic choices, open communication, and focusing on impactful projects will play pivotal roles in their ongoing journey.

“Meghan is still not showing herself in the best light and needs to be mindful of public perception, as recent incidents have shown a need for strategic improvements in her public image (misreading situations, including a recent cameo appearance in a coffee company’s social media campaign and needs to learn when to take a step back), i.e. when she believed she was on stage to make a small speech at Kevin Costner’s charity event.”

The expert concluded: “Meghan is still not showing herself in the best light and needs to be mindful of public perception, as recent incidents have shown a need for strategic improvements in her public image (misreading situations, including a recent cameo appearance in a coffee company’s social media campaign and needs to learn when to take a step back), i.e. when she believed she was on stage to make a small speech at Kevin Costner’s charity event.

“Importantly she appears to have no one to correct her ways, or actions or to strategically improve her public image. For one, the Sussexes need to learn to be more careful about who they talk about and not to burn bridges. This is certainly hard for both Harry and Meghan who have burned many bridges.

“A good way forward to better show themselves is a positive light would be to talk about the good work they do with a return to social media, as they would both have huge engagement levels, but at the same time, the comment moderator would be kept busy if they came across in the wrong light with egotistical posts.”
