The M1 is closed in both directions this morning due to a police led incident.
Emergency services are currently at the scene, with closures in place between J22 (Markfield) and J21A (Leicester) on the major UK motorway.
The road is expected to remain closed for a number of hours into the morning peak, according to the National Highways website.
Traffic Officers are also in attendance assisting with traffic management.
