KSI appears to spit at Tommy Fury's dad after bottles thrown in heated argument

Wednesday’s open workout descended into chaos ahead of KSI’s fight with Tommy Fury, as the Fury entourage stormed out of the building. Tommy’s father, John, said “I don’t like idiots” after KSI appeared to spit at him following a heated exchange.

KSI’s fight with Fury is just days away, and tensions are at an all-time high after he lashed out at Tommy’s father.

John Fury and KSI exchanged words as the boxer was leaning over a balcony in the facility, and a bottle was thrown in his direction. The bottle was thrown by John Fury, and in retaliation, KSI appeared to spit in his direction while laughing.

KSI and Tommy Fury headline the Prime Card on Saturday night, with the main card starting at 7pm as it’s being held in Manchester, England. The co-main sees KSI’s business partner Logan Paul fight Dillon Danis, an MMA fighter who once pulled out of fighting KSI.

Saturday marks the biggest event in ‘Influencer Boxing’ yet, as KSI takes on the brother of Tyson Fury and Logan Paul follows his brother Jake in fighting an MMA athlete inside the boxing ring. It’s expected to break Pay Per View records for an event involving an influencer.

The card has brought multiple fan bases together, with Fury representing the core boxing community, while MMA fans are keen to see Danis also do them proud. Paul and KSI have enticed their own YouTube following, creating mass interest worldwide.

After originally fighting on two occasions, KSI and Logan are now close friends, and their hydration business ‘Prime’ has become a global sensation. It’s sponsoring its own card and is also the official partner of the UFC and WWE.

The fight has been sold for months, with Danis being threatened with a lawsuit due to posting multiple pictures of Paul’s fiance in the build-up to the bout. The beef between Danis and Paul has overshadowed the rivalry between Fury and KSI, but Wednesday’s exchange reminded fans that there’s hatred between the fighters.

John Fury is very supportive of Tommy and took centre stage when clashing with Jake Paul in the past. Tommy beat Jake before agreeing to fight KSI, someone that Paul has been eyeing as a future opponent.

Fury has the family name to defend, as he and brother Tyson are both undefeated. Fury beat Paul on points in his last fight, but KSI is more aggressive and rarely sees his fights go the distance.
